Gandharva Choir – a 31 member group from India

Creative, innovative and experimental, the Gandharva Choir has presented hundreds of striking performances of Indian choral music in India and abroad over the last four decades.

This event will be interest to all especially to choral groups and a general audience.

This is the first time that a large choral group has ever come from India to perform in UK.

People will be able to experience a variety of styles and genres of vocal arts forms, including the ancient art form of Dhrupad, Khyal, Dhamar. Qawwali, Devotional and others.

Supported by SAMA Arts Network, Indian Council for Cultural Relations, the Nehru Centre and the Arts Council England.
