Bristol Biennial presents I’M STAYING

Saturday 03 May 2014 to Sunday 31 August 2014, 09:00 to 21:00

I’M STAYING is a new public artwork by Shaun C Badham - a large-scale neon sign overlooking the harbourside.

Arnolfini is pleased to host the first open commission of this year's Bristol Biennial. Spelling out "I'M STAYING", the work comments on our relationship to place, community and change. The work will move around Bristol over a two year period. Initially displayed on the outside of the Arnolfini building, viewers are invited to vote online and choose the next site for the neon artwork to be installed. Where will the work travel next: your street, your work, your home?

Artist talk: Shaun C Badham
Sunday 4 May, 4pm, free

I’M STAYING is the first open commission of Bristol Biennial 2014: Crossing the Line, which takes place from 12 21 September. The project is hosted by Arnolfini, and produced in partnership with Blink Giant Media.
