A dance and vocal performance inspired by childhood memories of Rwanda.

Location : Wickham Theatre

‘A cabaret-like carousel of ideas – more please’ – The Times

With poignant humour, dancer Ishimwa examines the irrational religious ideas he adopted as a child to help him get over the death of his mother.

Graduate of the Rambert school, Ishimwa turns his body and voice into a medium, like a faith healer, drawing on memories of his native Rwanda.

Selected for IBT New Bloods. Supported by IBT and Bristol Old Vic Ferment. #newbloods
