As part of the opening event for the exhibition 'The Cover of a Book is the Beginning of a Journey', the Performance Re-enactment Society (PRS) carried out Douglas Gordon's instructional artwork 'Three Steps to Heaven', included in Hans Ulricht Obrist's book 'Do It' (2005), published by E-flux. This was the first in a series of five Acts led by the PRS during 'The Cover of a Book is the Beginning of a Journey' with the title 'Things To Do With Books: A Do-It-Yourself Exhibition'.
