Award winning poet Patience Agbabi retells Chaucer’s The Canterbury Tales for the 21st Century. Mining Chaucer’s Middle-English masterwork for its performance as well as its poetry and pilgrims, this boisterous and lyrical collection gives one of Britain’s most significant works of poetry thrilling new life.

Patience Agbabi is the author of three collections of poetry and is a former poet laureate of Canterbury. Her work has been broadcast around the world on radio and TV and she has toured widely with the British Council
