Thinking through Making at UWE Bristol

A series of talks by UWE Bristol artists, designers, academics and researchers about the work they do and the thinking it involves and inspires. Organised in partnership with Arnolfini. Tickets are £6 / £4 concs / free for UWE staff and students.

By combining a tacit knowledge of skills and craft with curiosity, investigation and reflection the ‘maker’ is in a unique position to talk about how the work of the hand can inform the work of the mind.

Art and Design staff at UWE Bristol share their knowledge and views on thinking through making and its particular relevance to their practice. This season of talks will invite art and design students, practitioners, and the public to engage in debate and discussion around key themes shaping current practice in Drawing and Print.
