Student study day: art, science and activism
Artists and scientists often look at aspects of today’s society and speculate about the future with a view to social change. Alan Boldon, lecturer and research fellow in Arts and Ecology at Dartington College of Arts, will lead this day. He will draw upon work by artists such as Peter Fend and James Hillman as well as making links with his own research area, aesthetics and politics. The day is aimed at under- and post-graduate students who have a particular interest in this area and will offer a fascinating insight into historical and contemporary debates in art, science and activism.
