Summer Barbeque: The Cowshed (on The Downs)

Sunday 21 September 2014, 11:00 to 18:00

Join us for a special barbeque event, hosted by The Cowshed and cooked on Oscar Tuazon's specially commissioned sculpture Live Steam Shift Whistle.

The striking sculpture, that doubles as a fire pit and barbeque, is located on the beautiful Bristol Downs - a picturesque spot for family picnics.

The Cowshed prides itself on serving quality British food and locally sourced meat.

Oscar Tuazon's sculpture Live Steam Shift Whistle is part of our summer exhibition The Promise. The Promise is an exhibition project that focuses on the relationship between a city’s design and the hopes and ambitions of its residents. Exhibitions and events will take place in Arnolfini galleries and across Bristol throughout the summer.

The project has been made possible by the generous support of Simplyhealth - Art in the Public Realm Commission Award.

This event is part of Oscar Tuazon: Live Steam Shift Whistle (as part of The Promise)
