The Birdman of Alkijazz (aka musician Tony Orrell) challenges forward-thinking jazz-rock outfit The Blessing - Portishead's Jim Barr on bass with a horn section from Pete Judge and Jake McMurchie - to revisit a lost classic of European avant-garde cinema. Set in 1920s Switzerland, Borderline is a seething exploration of love, passion and betrayal which tells the story of a tense, inter-racial love triangle and its deadly consequences.
