UWE Fine Arts Lecture Series: Phyllida Barlow

Tuesday 27 October 2009, 23:00

Wed 28 Oct 6.00pm
Phyllida Barlow is one of the UK's most significant sculptors and teachers, and her often large-scale works explore space and our relationship to it. Barlow will present a special talk at Arnolfini entitled Sculpture: Dead Or Alive. She will talk about how sculpture can be half made things and things which are unfinished; things short-lived, and things which will be destroyed; things which accumulate, things which are made too quickly, and things without reason; and things which just are.
