A hands-on workshop and sharing evening for teachers from across Bristol. Join us for an exclusive look at Arnolfini’s plans for the next year, in particular our support and advocacy of art education.

The evening will include a series of creative activities as well as open discussion session for participants to share their own work and professional development interests, in a supportive environment.

Arnolfini has a long history of working with schools. Recently, we have spent time looking at Arnolfini’s archive with local school pupils. Based on this, we are now developing a new creative toolkit for classrooms, to help students learn about Bristol’s recent art history and use it as a springboard for their own ideas and art work. We will be sharing this as a work-in-progress in the workshop, and will welcome your feedback.

This event will focus on activities and resources designed for secondary schools, so will be most relevant to teachers working with 11 – 16 year olds. However, we welcome teachers and educators from primary and higher education to join us and to feed in to discussion about Arnolfini’s future plans.

Wine and nibbles provided!
