The W.O.M. is a simple electronic noise synth kit that has been designed both to be a fun experimental instrument and to provide an interesting introduction to lo-fi audio electronics. The workshop is open to all, even people with no prior electronic experience - and will look at components and schematics, learn how to solder and put together a circuit. After building your W.O.M. kit (yours to keep at the end) we'll have a play and then investigate how the different parts of the circuit behave and how ideas can be re-used in your own projects. A quick but comprehensive event that will give you the confidence to begin building your own electronic devices. All materials and tools are provided. 16+ recommended.
