Welcome to the fourth term of EBC’s 6-week art school course run by EBC with another six independent artists.
| Each week begins with an artist’s talk, followed by a practical workshop that gives an insight into some of the ideas and processes that the artist explores in their work, or could introduce the group to other interests that influence the artist’s practice.
Previous workshops have included; collage, drawing onto 16 mm film, writing, mobile phone videos, 3D scanning, sound, drawing exercises, clay modelling, stamping, making ink, plaster casting, and green screen recordings. Materials are normally provided by EBC. There may be occasions when participants will be asked to bring a laptop/smartphone; but this equipment can be provided if necessary. there will be time to look over the results of the workshops at the following week’s session. Each class is a stand-alone session, so participants shouldn’t worry if they have to miss a week for other commitments. Begins February 27 2019. Watch the trailer.
