Join writer in residence Mary Paterson on a series of walks through Bristol, to explore walking and writing as interconnected artistic practices. Cutting sculptural shapes through the city, these walks are linguistic and grammatical interventions into the etiquettes of public space. Each walk will begin with a prompt from literature or art, and include a writerly task for participants to carry out during or after the walk. The walks will last approximately 40 minutes to 1 hour, and take place in silence. Please wear appropriate clothing, bring a notebook and pen, and let us know any access requirements in advance (email BoxOffice@arnolfini.org.uk).

Walks:

Wednesday 1st March, 2pm: meet at Spike Island Arts Space

Wednesday 8th March, 2pm: meet at Arnolfini box office

Wednesday 15th March, 2pm: meet at Spike Island Arts Space

Wednesday 22nd March, 2pm: meet at Arnolfini box office (CANCELLED - to be rescheduled, please contact Box Office for details).

Mary will be there from 1.55pm. We will leave promptly at 2pm.
