Project Boondock

The name ‘Boondock’ has refers to the Tagalog word ‘Bundok’ meaning ‘Mountain.’ and another meaning which describes Boondocks as the wild country, uncharted territory outside cities, towns and the ordinary confines of civilisation.

An opportunity for artists to be part of a new multi-discipline creative community Project Boondock is an ever-expanding nterdisciplinary group based in London. With an ethos in co-creation, ‘breaking bread’ and sharing they are currently interested in the point at which there is no conventional ‘audience’ at all once every person is creating, doing or making, From the perspective of the dramaturge the collective (writers, performers, musicians, designers, theatre-makers and film-makers) meet every Sunday afternoon to consider how live work is made and practised across a range of diverse activities from food to physics.
